KARAIKUDI, OCT. 27. Star Birds CC posted a 94-run win over Moonlight CC in the IB-Sivaganga DCA `C' division league here recently.

The scores: `A' division: Big Birds CC 154 in 37 overs (Halith 44) bt Devakottai CC `A' 114 in 30 overs; KTCC 151 in 36.1 overs (Bala 47, Nelliyan 42, Raja four for 20) lost to ACCET CC 152 for nine in 37 overs; ACCET CC 194 for eight in 35 overs (Lakshmikanthan 53 not out) bt Gangai Brothers CC 90 in 29 overs. Gangai Brothers CC 121 in 24.3 overs (A. Muniasamy four for 30) lost to Rohini CC 125 for five in 24.3 overs; Vanchi CC 124 in 34 overs lost to TCPL CC 125 for three in 21 overs (Jalaludeen 46). `B' division: Sekkalai CC 177 in 27 overs (C.S. Anand 72) lost to Senshare CC 178 for five in 25 overs (Nagendran 48 not out); Oscar CC 176 for nine in 40 overs (Thirunavukkarasu 56 not out) bt Moonlight Winners CC 134 in 27 overs. `C' division: Star Birds CC 236 in 29 overs (S. Subramani 72, A. Ganesh 52) bt Moonlight CC 142 in 21 overs (Ganesh Prabhu five for 19); Vetri Poonga CC `A' 50 in 19 overs (Palaniappan four for nine) lost to Moonlight CC 53 for one in four overs.

Jolly Rovers CC 111 in 22 overs (Thirumalai five for 14) bt Moonlight CC 88 in 22 overs (Naina Mohamed five for 22).
