4-1 win for Baldwins Boys HS
BANGALORE,
OCT. 27.
Deepak's brace helped Baldwins Boys HS defeat Frank Anthony Public School (FAPS) 4-1 in a Baldwin Shield inter-school football tournament's under-17 match here on Wednesday.
Shakir and Karma also scored for the victor while P. Rohan chipped in FAPS' lone goal. Earlier in an under-12 match, Clarence School failed to turn up and Bethany School got a walk-over. The Baldwin Shield tournament will also feature girls' football in its latest edition. "We want to provide opportunities for girls too in football," said Baldwins School principal K.J.N. Karunakaran in the tournament's launch press conference here on Tuesday.
