KRL, St. Xavier's clinch titles
KOCHI,
OCT. 27.
Kochi Refineries Limited staved off a strong challenge from Cochin Port Trust 25-18, 25-22, 23-25, 25-20 and clinched the men's title in the Pappan memorial Ernakulam district senior volleyball championship, which concluded at the Pappan Stadium, Varapuzha, on Tuesday night.
In the women's section, St. Xavier's College (Aluva) defeated SGDC (Nayarambalam) in straight sets and emerged champion.
