`Skills for adolescence'

COIMBATORE, OCT 27. The Lions Club of Coimbatore, Tatabad will conduct "Lions Quest - skills for adolescence," a value-based education programme for students aged between 10 and 14 at the Lisieux Matriculation Higher Secondary School on October 30.

Programme

The Coimbatore Productivity Council will organise a programme on "positive work culture and interpersonal relation" on November 2 at the council's conference hall.

Special talk

The Krishnamurti Foundation India and the J. Krishnamurti Study Centre, Coimbatore will organise video-screening of a talk by J. Krishnamurti on "a different way of living" on October 31 at Divyodaya. This will be followed by an interactive session and an exhibition-cum-sale of Krishnamurti Books and VCDs.

Discourse

A "public sathsang" will be conducted by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev on October 31 at Tirupur.

It will be held at the Nanjappa Boys Higher Secondary School.

Donation

The Bank of India has donated Rs. 66,750 to the United Physically Handicapped School at Kurumbapalayam for purchase of cots, tables, chairs, sewing machinery and wet grinder.

The furniture were handed over to the institute by the zonal manager of the bank, A.W.M.J. Basha, at a programme held recently.
