Gayatri Yagna in Delhi tomorrow

NEW DELHI, OCT. 28. Karnataka-based Gayatri Tapobhoomi Trust has organised a Koti Maha Gayatri Yagna under the guidance of Swaroop Vallabha Chaitanya here on Saturday and Sunday.

The yaga is intended to promote peace, prosperity and good health among humanity.

Ashok Harapanahalli, organiser of the yagna, said here that over 15,000 Gayatri devotees in Delhi and neighbouring areas would be present for the event.

The event, the ninth of its kind in the country, will be held at the Central Park of Sector 12, R.K. Puram, behind Sri Raghavendra Math.

Such events have been held in places such as Bangalore, Goa, Hyderabad, Gulbarga, Dharwad, Dandeli, Bijapur, and Koppal in the past and it will be held in Indore next year.

Visvesha Tirtha swamiji of Pejawar Math, Sumateendra swamiji of Mantralaya and Shivaratri Desikendra swamiji of Suttur Math will be present during the yagna. — UNI.
