2:3 bonus from Hindustan Sanitaryware

HYDERABAD,
OCT. 28.
The board of directors of Hindustan Sanitaryware and Industries (HSIL) has recommended a bonus issue in the ratio of two fully paid equity shares for every three equity shares held..
Addressing a press conference soon after the board meeting here on Thursday, Sandip Somany, Joint Managing Director, said the company was in dialogue with a north India based loss-making company for acquisition.
The issue came up for discussion at the board meeting, but Mr. Somany refrained from identifying even the segment (glassware or sanitaryware) in which the acquisiton was aimed.
