This Day That Age
A.H. Kardar, Pakistan cricket team captain, said in Karachi on October 28 that he anticipates a keen tussle between India and Pakistan in the forthcoming Tests. Giving his views on the coming tour of India and the game in general, Kardar said Pakistan players would give a good account of themselves against India. He expected Pakistan to do better than in 1952 when India won two out of the three Tests that produced results.
