New Secretary-level appointments

NEW DELHI,
OCT. 29.
The Centre today made senior bureaucratic changes appointing Brijesh Kumar as the Secretary, Department of Information Technology. Mr. Kumar, a 1968-batch Uttar Pradesh cadre officer replaces K.K. Jaswal, who is retiring at the end of this month.
L.V. Saptarishi, a 1969 officer who is at present serving his parent West Bengal cadre, has been posted as the Director General, Council for Advancement of People's Action and Rural Technology. He succeeds Komal Anand.
Anupam Dasgupta, a 1970 Maharashtra cadre officer, who was serving as Secretary, Department of Official Languages, has been posted as Secretary, Ministry of Small Scale Industries and Ministry of Agro and Rural Industries in place of B.S. Minhas who is retiring on October 31, an official release said.
