Manmohan to launch special FFW scheme

HYDERABAD,
OCT. 29.
The Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, will launch a special Food-for-work scheme covering 150 districts throughout the country here on November 14.
Andhra Pradesh has been chosen as the launch pad as the Centre is impressed by the initiatives taken by the Congress Government to ease the suffering of farmers and its thrust on irrigation and agriculture, officials sources said here on Friday.
