OfficeTiger buys U.K. firm

By Our Staff Correspondent

CHENNAI, OCT. 29. The U.S.-headquartered OfficeTiger, the judgment-based business process outsourcing solution provider, has acquired the U.K-based Devonshire Group, a provider and consultant of outsourced creative, document and staffing solutions. OfficeTiger has a BPO facility in Chennai.

In a telephonic talk with this correspondent, Joseph Sigelman, the Chennai-based co-CEO of OfficeTiger, said the takeover would provide Devonshire with financial and intellectual resources to respond to client, candidate and market requirements. The acquisition would also provide career opportunities for employees. OfficeTiger, with a staff strength of 2,500, would gain experience from Devonshire's management team as the latter has a strong presence in the U.K. and Germany.

Amanda White, former CEO of Devonshire Group, has been appointed Managing Director, OfficeTiger, Europe.
