Australia routs India
CHENNAI,

Australia recorded a whopping 8-2 victory in the third under-21 hockey Test at Perth on Thursday. Australia won the first Test 6-1, while India scored a 3-2 win in the second.
On Thursday, the Indians, who trailed 0-1 at half-time, were outplayed in the second half. Mark Knowles, Russel Ford (2), Steve Boyce (3), Desmond Abbot and Eli Matheson netted for the Aussies. Jatinderpal Singh scored both the goals for India, from a penalty corner in the 44th minute and from a penalty stroke in the 51st minute.
