NEW DELHI, OCT. 29. Border Security Force (BSF), Jalandhar, qualified for the Durand Cup football tournament, winning from group I league of the qualifying round at the Air Force Station Ground here on Friday. Prasanto Dass (6th minute) and J. Ouseph (73rd) scored on either side of the halves as BSF blanked Signals, Goa, 2-0 to win the qualifier. BSF will join Salgaocar and Air India, Mumbai, in the group `A' of the quarterfinal league, which opens on November 3 at the Ambedkar stadium. The second qualifier will be decided on Saturday when Gorkha Rifles, Lucknow, take on Assam Rifles, Tezpur, in the group `B' final league match.
