A House committee on Friday visited Prasad's Imax theatre complex as part of inquiry into allegations about irregularities in exemptions given by the previous TDP Government to the management. Without going on record, committee members said the facilities at the complex were world class. According to the Chairman, C. Narsi Reddy, the committee would meet for a more detailed discussion on November 11, when the records would also be scrutinised. The other members of the committee were P. Janardhan Reddy, Diwakar Rao, P. Keshav, Padma Rao and M. Mukesh. Speaking to reporters later, the members said there were no doubts about the facilities at the complex. The members went around the food court, the screening premises in the multiplexes and sat through a 10-minute screening on the Imax screen. They paid particular attention to the parking facilities and went around the basement and the shared parking lot run by the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority opposite the complex. The Police Commissioner, R.P. Singh, the Secretary, Tourism, S.P. Singh, and B. Kishore from the Commercial Taxes Department were present.
