CRPF has big plans

HYDERABAD,
OCT. 29.
With the proposed raising of 25 new battalions over the next couple of years, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is all set to become the largest `central police force' in the world.
Stating this here on Friday, the CRPF Director-General, J.K. Sinha, explained that two battalions had been earmarked to undergo training in `disaster management'.
According to a press release, 42 officers of the CRPF, all graduates in science, would learn techniques of `Medical First Responder' and `Collapsed Structure Search and Rescue' operations as part of the programme.
