Nawaz Sharif bereaved

ISLAMABAD, OCT. 30. Body of Mian Mohammad Sharif, the father of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who died in Jeddah on Friday night is expected to be flown to Lahore.

Mian Mohammad Sharif (85) died of cardiac arrest at 10.30 p.m. (IST). The entire Sharif clan has been living in exile since December 2000 after a `deal' the then Military Government headed by Pervez Musharraf. Mian Mohammad Sharif, known as Abba jaan, was considered to be the political mentor of the Sharif brothers.
