PONDICHERRY, OCT. 30. The Chief Minister, N. Rangasamy, today announced that the rain-affected families would be supplied 20 kg free rice. He told newsmen here that the revenue and municipal authorities were geared to meet any contingency. They would ensure that food and relief materials were available to the affected families. Pondicherry had experienced sharp showers for the last three days. Many streets were waterlogged.
