Men: Discus throw: Derek Hutson (St. Joseph's College of Engg.) 40.52m; Javelin throw: Derek Hutson 60.82; Hammer throw: Arun Kumar (St. Joseph's) 49.75; Half-marathon: N. Punithan (Karunya Inst. of Tech., Cbe) 1hr:11min 13.04s; 20km walk: B. Ramesh Babu (Adhiyamaan Engg. College) 2: 02:37.7s.
Women: Discus throw: V. Subashini (Kongu Engg. College, Perundurai) 30.80m; Hammer throw: T. Jency Rajakumari (St. Joseph's) 20.36m; Half-marathon: T. Usha Rani (St. Joseph's College) 52min 59.1s; 5km walk: T. Usha Rani (St. Joseph's) 27:34.4.
Individual championship:
Men: 1. Derek Hutson (St. Joseph's) 16.5 points.
Women: 1. H. Amudha & T. Usha Rani (both from St. Joseph's College) 24 points each.
Team championship:
