Praveen gets the nod

VIJAYAWADA, OCT. 30. A.G. Praveen, a young medium pacer, has been capped and L.N. Prasada Reddy, has been recalled by the Andhra Ranji team selectors for the team's first four matches of the season.

M.S.K. Prasad will continue to lead the team with Y. Venugopala Rao, as his deputy, according to a press release issued by the secretary of the Andhra Cricket Association, N. Venkata Rao on Saturday.

The schedule: Andhra plays Madhya Pradesh at Indore from Nov. 7 to 10, Delhi at Delhi from Nov. 16 to 19, Mumbai at Mumbai from Nov. 25 to 28 and Karnataka at Bangalore from Dec. 4 to 7 in the Elite Group `A'.
