THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, OCT. 30. The representation for the State unit of the BJP in the party's national executive has come down with the reconstitution of the council by the new party president, L.K. Advani. The loser is the former president of the State unit, C.K. Padmanabhan, who had fallen out with the RSS. None has been nominated in his place. Though the former State general secretary (organisation), P.P. Mukundan, also is not in the executive this time, he is likely to be re-nominated as the zonal secretary (Kerala and Tamil Nadu) and thus becomes a permanent invitee to the council. The sitting members, O. Rajagopal and Mathew Pyli, retained their seats in the council. The State president, P.S. Sreedharan Pillai, who was a council member before becoming the State president, is now in the council as permanent invitee by virtue of his office. The State general secretary (organisation), P.K. Krishnadas, is also a permanent invitee.
