India routs Pakistan

CHANDIGARH, OCT. 31. India outplayed Pakistan 4-1 in the first encounter of the first-ever two-Test badminton series here on Saturday. The second Test will be played in Jalandhar on Monday.

The results: India beat Pakistan 4-1 (Hemant Duggal bt Wajid Ali 15-4, 15-12; Sachin Ratti bt Zeeshan Waqas Ahmed 15-4, 15-3; V. Diju and Jaseel P.
