Heavy rain in Sirkali

CHENNAI OCT. 31. Northeast Monsoon has been vigorous over Tamil Nadu and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and active over Kerala. Rainfall occurred at most places over Tamil Nadu and Kerala, at many places over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Isolated rainfall occurred over North Interior Karnataka. The following stations recorded very heavy to heavy rainfall in cm: Sirkali (Nagapattinam dt.) 29, Cuddalore 28, Pondicherry Airport 21, Coonoor 20.

FORECAST (valid until the Tuesday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely at many places over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Lakshadweep and at a few places over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely over North Interior Karnataka and Telangana.
