PESIT triumphs

BANGALORE, OCT. 31. P. Chandra Shekar's four wickets and M.S. Vinay's unbeaten 69 helped host PESIT emerge champion in the PESIT inter-collegiate staff cricket tournament here on Sunday.

In the final, PESIT defeated KCDS by nine wickets. Vinay struck seven fours and six sixes in his unbeaten knock.

The scores (final): KCDS 97 in 17 overs (P. Chandra Shekar four for 18) lost to PESIT 99 for one in six overs (M.S. Vinay 69 not out).
