Mass contact programme

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, OCT. 31. As a part of the Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy's mass contact programme to be held at the Collectorate today, the public can meet him and submit complaints personally. The complainants should assemble at the general counter near the main entrance of the Collectorate. The counter will function from 8.30 a.m. There will also be a finance counter to distribute relief funds to the needy.

Traffic curbs

In view of the Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy's mass contact programme today, traffic will be regulated on the Collectorate premises from 8 a.m. till the completion of the programme. Two-wheelers should be parked one side along the Collectorate Junction- Pallimukku Road and the rest of the vehicles should be parked along the Vanchiyoor police station road, Ambujavilasam-Mathrubhumi Road, Uppidammoodu-Thakarapparambu Road and Pattur-Pallimukku Road.

Scribes' protest

The Thiruvananthapuram Press Club has protested against the attack on Indiavision office in Kozhikode today. In a release, the club president, V.V. Venugopal, and the secretary, V. Unnikrishnan, strongly condemned the attack.
