NEW DELHI, OCT. 31. The "Spirit of Uttaranchal" is all set to come alive at Dilli Haat here in the Capital where a fortnight-long event is being organised by the State Government's Uttaranchal Organic Commodity Board from November 1. The event will showcase, promote and market diverse organic products, handloom, handicrafts and eco-tourism destinations. The event aims at creating awareness about the efforts being made in the Hill State for promoting organic farming (organic food), handicrafts and natural fibre products and introduce to the people of Delhi the unique features that mark the spirit of this mountain State besides finding markets for such products. Several voluntary organisations, self-help groups, farmers and government bodies will be representing Uttaranchal at the event. The highlight of the show will be two exhibitions.
