NIZAMABAD, NOV. 1. The Bharatiya Janata Party district president, Y. Lakshminarayana, has said the Minister for Rural Development, D. Srinivas, lacks sincerity and commitment on development of the district headquarters. Talking to reporters here today, he challenged the Minister to get back the Rs.3-crore Central Reserve Fund allotted to the town, which lapsed as the Government did not give clearance for the drinking water pipeline repair work from Railway Kaman in the town to Narsi. Saying that the BJP was not against upgradation of the civic body into a corporation, he said an all-party meeting should be convened to discuss the issue.
