Award for RPG Retail
CHENNAI: Renowned magazine Retail Asia unveiled recently in Singapore the first-ever ranking of Asia Pacific's leading retail firms. The Gold for India was awarded to RPG Retail, which at present operates more than 350 stores, branded as FoodWorld, Giant Hypermarkets, MusicWorld, Health & Glow and Spencer's Hypermarket. RPG Retail, which generated sales of Rs. 528.75 crores last year, also received the `Best of the Best' award in the Asia Pacific region. The winners were selected on the basis of marketing innovations, customer orientation, merchandising initiatives and systems and processes that have been successfully deployed.
