KANNUR, NOV. 2. The All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) State general secretary, P.K. Sreemathi, MLA, has demanded a comprehensive probe into the attack on AIDWA activists and journalists at the Karipur airport by Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) workers. At a press conference here today, Ms. Sreemathi demanded that the Industries Minister, P.K. Kunhalikutty, resign from the Cabinet on moral grounds in the wake of the recent developments in the Kozhikode ice cream parlour case. Ms. Sreemathi said that the Government should not further delay holding a detailed probe into the incidents at Karipur. It should also unearth the conspiracy behind the attacks. She flayed the police for their failure to protect the scribes and AIDWA protestors.
