`AI bombings, an act of political terrorism'

VANCOUVER, NOV. 2. The Air India bombings that killed 331 people are an act of political terrorism so deadly it is difficult to comprehend, prosecutors told a Canadian court on Monday.

The prosecution began its closing arguments in the trial of two Sikh separatists, Ripudaman Singh Malik and Ajaib Singh Bagri, charged with the 1985 attacks, including the destruction of Air India Flight 182 — history's deadliest bombing of a civilian airliner.
