High Court closes PIL on sex victim
KOCHI,
NOV. 2.
The Kerala High Court today closed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking a direction to shift the victim of the Kiliroor sex scandal for better treatment, observing that no further direction is required in the matter.
A Division Bench, consisting of the Chief Justice, N.K. Sodhi and Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan, noted that the victim had already been shifted to Kottayam Medical College Hospital from a private hospital.
The court was of the view that the victim was being provided with the best medical treatment possible in the circumstances. — UNI
