NELLORE, NOV. 2. Widespread rain was reported in Nellore district on Tuesday, throwing normal life out of gear. Muttukur mandal recorded highest rainfall of 5.92 cm followed by Nellore with 5.56 cm, Butchireddipalem 4.93 cm and Venkatagiri 4.20 cm. Rainfall in other mandals is as follows. Pellakur (3.42 cm), Jaladanki (3.14 cm), Kodavalur (2.94 cm), Vidavalur (2.92 cm), Vinjamoor (2.86 cm), Venkatachalam (2.84 cm), Balayapalli (2.80 cm), Chillakur (2.56 cm), Kaligiri (2.40 cm), Varikuntapadu (2.24 cm), Kondapuram (2.06 cm), Kaluvoy (2.24 cm) and Naidupet (1.82 cm)
