Disruption

KOCHI, NOV. 2. Power supply will be disrupted to Vytilla, Thykoodam, Janatha, Manamel, Choice, and RSAC Road between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday because of line-repair work, the Vytilla office of the KSEB has informed.

Vigilance week

The Cochin Port Trust is observing Vigilance Awareness Week till November 6. The chairman, Jacob Thomas administered the pledge to officers and staff in the main administrative office. Banners showing slogans to create awareness on the issue have been displayed in prime locations in the office. A seminar on `The role of vigilance in the era of globalisation and public/private partnership' will be held on November 3.

Symposium

A symposium on `Perioperative care of congenital heart diseases', will be organised by the Paediatric Society of India at the Amritha Institute of Medical Sciences here on November 6 and 7.
