PONDICHERRY, NOV. 3 . Three workers of a private steel factory in Mettupalayam near here, were injured when a gas cylinder at the unit burst today. They have been admitted to the Government General Hospital. Hospital sources said two of the three workers had been injured seriously. The Health and Labour Minister, E. Valsaraj, who visited the injured told newsmen that he had sent a team of officers of the Department of Labour, and the Inspectorate of Factories and Boilers had gone to collect details of the accident. The Government would take action against the unit's proprietor, if any lapse in safety was found.
