Plea to prosecute IUML leaders

By Our Special Correspondent

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, NOV. 4. The Hindu Aikya Vedi has demanded the prosecution of Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) leaders for removing the national flag from the Karipur airport and hoisting the party's flag in its place. The State secretary of the Vedi, M. Gopal, in a statement here today, said that the act was an insult to national symbols like the tricolour and to the country's sovereignty and hence "anti-national". He called for releasing the Karipur airport from the control of the IUML.
