Boy injured in wall collapse

RAICHUR, NOV. 4. A 12-year-old boy was injured when the wall of a community hall collapsed on him in the railway station yard here on Thursday. The Railway Police admitted the boy to the District Civil Hospital.

The community hall was under construction and was to be inaugurated on November 16. It is said that cracks had developed in the 40-foot wall as inferior quality material had been used. Trivikram Joshi, member of the national Executive Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party's Yuva Morcha, and Shashiraj Mask,i party member, who visited the spot, alleged that the Railways had used poor quality material. They urged the Railway Minister, Lalu Prasad, to initiate action to conduct an inquiry into the incident and take action against the officials concerned.
