The complaint in the matter was recently filed by a London-based Indian national, N.S. Hoon. He told the police that two years ago, Arun Gupta and Naveen Gupta, the directors of OJ Financial Services Limited and OJ Securities Private Limited approached him through their agent, Sunil Singhania, offering him good returns against investigation in their firm. Mr. Hoon invested funds and shares to the tune of over Rs. 3 crores between April 2002 and February 2003. Initially, they gave monthly interests to them but later stopped it without any valid reason.
Two nabbed
The accused, identified as Ghanshyam and Sanjay, had allegedly robbed Sushena Bhera, a resident of Sarai Julena, of his gold chain and ring. When they were fleeing, Assistant Sub-Inspector Chander Pal, heard Sushena scream for help and trailed the accused. He managed to overpower Ghanshyam. At his instance, the police arrested Sanjay from Patel Nagar in West Delhi this morning and recovered the stolen articles.

According to the police, the body, found lying half-naked in a park at Madangir in Ambedkar Nagar, had several injuries marks. It was identified as that of Vinod Kumar, a resident of Madangir. Following investigations, the police arrested the four accused, Ballu alias Balram, Vinit Singh, Babloo and Chinu.
Crackers seized
The police mounted raids on shops at Roop Nagar, Prem Nagar Azad Market and Sadar Bazar. While licences of four shops were cancelled, those of three were suspended on the basis of various violations.
