TIRUNELVELI, NOV. 5 . One person was killed and another one injured seriously when a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation bus hit a two-wheeler near Tenkasi today. The police said K. Kannan (35) of Aayikudi and M. Brammanayagam of Kasimajorpuram were going to Puliyangudi in a two-wheeler. When they reached Kumundapuram, a TNSTC bus, proceeding from Papanasam to Madurai hit the bike, killing Kannan on the spot and grievously injuring Brammanayagam, the pillion rider. The injured has been admitted to the Tenkasi Government Hospital with multiple injuries on the leg. The Kadayanallur police arrested the bus driver, K. Babu (52).
