PERAMBALUR, NOV. 6 . Unidentified persons allegedly waylaid a woman, Malarkodi of Brahmmadesam village, and robbed her at knife-point of three sovereigns of gold last night. The police said the incident occurred when Malarkodi was going to Pimbalur village. The culprits, who were coming by a two-wheeler, waylaid her and escaped with the jewels, the police said.
