Bengal bandhs to protest fuel price hike

KOLKATA,
NOV.6.
The Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) and the CPI-ML (Liberation) today separately called for Bengal bandhs on November17 and 22 protesting the hike in fuel price.
The SUCI's 24-hour bandh is to protest the hike in the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG. The bandh has also been called demanding the continuation of subsidy on fuels, withdrawal of all taxes and cess by the Centre and State Governments on petroleum products.
