Pondicherry
By Our Staff Reporter
PONDICHERRY, NOV. 7. The Pattali Makkal Katchi Parliamentary party leader and Pondicherry MP, M. Ramadass, today said the hike in prices of petroleum products and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) had caused dissatisfaction among consumers. Middle class people were the worst hit. The rise in their prices would have a serious impact on the economy, leading to increase in the prices of other commodities. The MP said the Centre should take steps to bring down the prices. There were several other ways where austerity could be adopted to make up the financial loss or burden faced by the Government.
