The Gannavaram airport recorded a maximum temperature of 29

degree Celsius and a minimum of 21 degree Celsius, on Sunday. Humidity rose from 85 per cent in the morning to 87 per cent in the evening. The airport recorded a rainfall of 0.2 mm.

Blood donation

camp by NCC

Nearly 100 NCC cadets will participate in the blood donation camp which will be conducted by the naval unit NCC, Vijayawada, on the premises of its office on November 28. The unit's Commanding Officer, Lt. Col. Hanumant Singh, said the blood collected in the camp would be donated to the Red Cross Society, Vijayawada.

Urs on Nov. 10 and 11

Members of Hazrath Syed Galeeb Shaheed (R.A) Dargah proposed to celebrate the 416th urs-mubarak (annual feature) of the holy saint, Hazrat Syed Galeeb Shaheed (R.A) atop Kondapalli hill on November 10 and 11.

The celebrations are being organised to commemorate the holy saint who belonged to the Qutub Shahi period.
