Youth thrashed
By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD,
NOV. 7.
A person accused of pestering his teenaged neighbour to marry him was allegedly kidnapped and beaten up by the latter's relatives on Saturday.
While the degree first year student of Vanitha College lodged a complaint with the Falaknuma police stating that her neighbour, B. Jagannatha Rao, was pestering her to marry him, the latter lodged a counter case saying he was beaten up by the girl's family members.
The girl, in her complaint, said that Rao had been stalking for several months, but she chose not to tell her parents. On Saturday, she approached the police saying that the harassment had become unbearable. The same evening, Rao alleged that the girl's family members kidnapped and beat him.
