NEW DELHI, NOV. 8. Encouraged by the overwhelming response to the Special Limited Edition Opel Corsa 1.4 Elite, targeted at the discerning and exclusivity-seeking customer, General Motors India has launched another Limited Edition of the popular car to meet demand in the festive Diwali season. Based on the Corsa 1.4 GSI, the new Special Edition, redefining value for money proposition, has a host of incremental exclusive features including a unique triple information display system and would be offered with either folding or adjustable rear seat backrest. Available at ex showroom Delhi price of Rs. 5.33 lakhs, the new Corsa Elite comes packed with special features. "Up for grabs are only 200 Limited Editions of Corsa Elite offering phenomenal value for money in a segment witnessing increasing competition with competing brands offering an array of product features. We expect an immensely enthusiastic response for this car,'' said P. Balendran, Vice President, Corporate Affairs, General Motors India. PTI reports: Maruti Udyog will give freebies of up to Rs. 28,900 on its two car models this week to counter a similar offer by Hyundai Motor India. Customers would be given free accessories worth Rs. 28,900 and Rs. 26,500 on compact cars the Zen and the WagonR respectively, company officials told PTI. Customers can avail of the offer till Saturday. Hyundai Motor India has announced a Rs. 3 lakh sticker price for its compact car Santro. Hyundai customers can buy the Santro at discounted price till November 10.
