Obscene hoardings `should go'

CHENNAI, NOV. 8. Retired bank employees have urged the city police commissioner to ensure that obscene advertisement hoardings and cinema posters are removed throughout the city. In a memorandum to Mr. R. Nataraj, the State Bank Retired and Service Employees' Forum has said these hoardings were a distraction to motorists and could even lead to accidents. They were also a bad influence on youth, it said.
