Flextronics to acquire Emuzed
BANGALORE,
NOV. 9.
Electronics manufacturing services (ESM) giant Flextronics is acquiring multimedia technology and solutions provider Emuzed Inc, which has its R & D centres in Bangalore and Chennai, in a multi-million dollar deal, a top Emuzed Inc official said today.
The Chairman of the U.S.-based Emuzed, Tushar Dave, announced today that the company had entered into an agreement in this regard with the $14.5 billion Flextronics, a major global company with design, engineering, manufacturing and logistics operations in 32 countries.
The exact value of the transaction was not disclosed by Mr. Dave, who said, it would be revealed once the regulatory approvals were received, and the deal was slated to be completed in 4-6 weeks. — PTI
