Narrow win for Royal Kashmir

NEW DELHI, NOV. 9. Vishal Singh and Angad Kalaan scored three and two goals respectively to fashion Royal Kashmir's 5-4 win against Jodhpur-Sahgal Stud in the first round match in the Baroda Cup 12-goal polo tournament here on Tuesday.

The two teams were locked 4-4 at the end of the regulation time and it took Vishal Singh to score the golden goal and put the match in Royal Kashmir's favour. Dhruvpal Godara (2), Shivraj Singh and Loius Antoine Tari were the scorers for Sahgal Stud. In other matches, Sona Polo defeated Indian Navy 10 goals to four-and-a-half, Jindal Steel and Power edged past Teachers 7-5 and Zara beat Army Green six goals to three-and-a-half.
