Srija wins title
HYDERABAD,
NOV.9.
A. Srija of Sri Viswasanthi High School emerged champion in the junior girls category of the Children's Day chess tournament organised by the same school in Vuyyuru according to information received here.
Sk.Shabeena of Sri Viswasanthi School won the senior girls title in the event where 261 players competed.
The results:
Girls: Seniors: 1. Sk.Shabeena (Sri Viswasanthi School), 2. K.Khyathi (SVS), 3. D.Silpa (SVS).
Juniors: 1. A.Srija (SVS), 2. K.Rajeshwari (SVS), 3. B.Kavya (SVS).
Boys: Seniors: N.Kishore (SVS) and P.Siva Prasad (Flora School) - joint-winners, Md.Sultan (Vuyyur Public School) & Samuel Paul (SVS) - joint third place.
Juniors: 1. Sk.Suraj (SVS), 2. M.Siddartha (Flora School), 3. Y.Vamsi Krishna (SVS).
