Muthalik fails to get bail

BIJAPUR, NOV. 9. The MLA from Bijapur, Appasaheb Pattanashetti, and 16 persons today obtained bail in a case registered against them during the "Save archaeological monuments'' agitation launched in March last.

The Judicial Magistrate First Class court rejected the bail petition of Pramod Muthalik, convenor of Bajrang Dal, on the ground that there was a warrant pending against him.
