Thumping win for MLI
BANGALORE,
NOV. 9.
Maharatta Light Infantry scored a thumping 9-1 victory over East India Hockey Club in the BEL Colony Youth Association league hockey tournament played at the BEL stadium here. Praful Karketta, Susan Tigga and Ramachandran scored a brace each while Ekka Sanjit, Dhananjaya and Chand Raj also added their names to the scorers tally. Karun scored the only goal for East India.
In the second match, BEL Colony Youth Association scored a 4-0 win over MICO (Bangalore). Palani Kumar scored twice followed by Ravi Kumar and Murali's efforts for the winner.
