NELLORE, NOV.9. The Superintendent of Police, B. Sivadhar Reddy, has issued 12 guidelines for selling crackers for Deepavali festival. They include storing of not more than 1,000 kg in a wholesale shop and 100 kg in a retail shop. Those without proper RCC sheds should arrange temporary sheds, in consultation with area police. According to the S.P, no material other than crackers should be kept in the shop. Also there should be no child labour engaged in the shops. Those who violate the norms are liable for punishment under the law.
