MADANAPALLE, NOV.9. Students of the women's college, protesting against obscenity in films, entered the Seshamahal theatre in the town and seized the reels of the film which they alleged had objectionable portions and burnt them on Monday. As the irate students tore wall posters and broke glass panes of the theatre, the manager and the audience fled the scene. Earlier, they took out a procession in the town. The AISF State secretary, S. Raja Reddy, and students association members Tejovathi, Siddeswari and Sandhya, participated. Mr. Raja Reddy said agitation against obscenity in films would be taken up at the State level also.
